To help companies ward off phishing attacks, spyware, fraud, malicious code and inappropriate content, E-mail Filter leverages SurfControl’s world-renowned database of categorised Web sites to identify and filter harmful links in the message text. The URL database is built and constantly updated by SurfControl’s Global Threat Command Centres.

Content Dictionaries
SurfControl’s customisable dictionaries provide quality content out of the box. SurfControl provides 10 dictionary language packs covering 16 risk categories allowing you to pick and choose which categories demand filtering, and which are acceptable for business use. You can, of course, create your own dictionaries focused
on any category or language you choose.
