Etienne has been part of the management team that has contributed to SecureData growing from a £5million to circa £20million company over the past 5 years. Whilst at SecureData his responsibilities have encompassed Professional Services, Pre-sales and Marketing, including product design and development. Etienne was an early pioneer of managed security services developing the approach of pro-actively monitoring infrastructures and is seen as a security innovator finding creative uses for security technologies to solve business issues. He has been involved in the information security market for 17 years and was one of the first to enter into the internet and network security fields. He joined SecureData in 2001 upon the sale of Information Security Architects where he was the Managing Director and prior to that played a key role in the founding and building of a number of leading information security companies. He graduated from the University of the Witwatersrand in South Africa with a BSc in Electrical Engineering.
As Sales Director at SecureData, Matt helps to strategically drive the business forward. He plays a significant role in securing the business’ main contracts and has successfully integrated members of the company’s sales team from three acquisitions. He has played an instrumental role in the business achieving at least double digit growth every year, going from a turnover of circa £1 million per annum and finishing the 2010/11 financial year with a turnover in excess of £16 million. Matt began his career in the information technology industry by joining ON Technology, a broadbased technology reseller and integrator, where he soon moved to the company’s security practice. Having worked for a reseller he then joined a vendor before moving to SecureData in December 1997. Matt graduated with a 1st class degree at Southampton University in Economics and Politics and played full time sport for two rugby clubs before injury forced an early retirement.
Prior to joining SecureData, Raj was finance director of AIM listed Group NBT plc. It was here that as part of the executive team Raj helped grow a largely UK focussed internet services business with a market cap of £15m to a £150m global enterprise, operating in 8 countries, through acquisition and organic growth over 10 years prior to its eventual sale to private equity. Early on in his career Raj was financial controller at Tempo, a national electric and computer retailer and has held various roles in an oil and gas construction group and BDO LLP, a leading firm of accountants. Raj is a qualified accountant and is a member of the ACCA.
Andrew is responsible for post sales consultancy, support and managed services at SecureData. In addition he is responsible for the company’s internal systems, DR, BC and ISO27001 compliancy. With 20 years’ experience in the ICT industry, Andrew has held senior project management, support and service delivery roles within FTSE 30 companies; including Centrica and BT. He is a qualified Prince 2 Practitioner (project management).
Neville is also Chairman of, Amor, Ascribe, and Fourth and is a Non-Executive Director of Tikit.
An entrepreneurial business leader with over 25 years’ Board experience, Neville was Chief Executive of Compel (an IT solutions business), when he headed an MBO in 1987, followed by an IPO in 1994. Under his leadership the company’s revenues grew from £5m (30 employees) to a peak of £300m (1500 employees). In 2007, having been instrumental in the development of the business throughout competitive and ever-changing market conditions, he facilitated its sale. He has since developed a plural career, which has included Chairmanships of a number of companies, predominantly in the Information Technology industry.
Neville is a graduate in Accounting, Economics and Business Studies from the University of Kent, and is a Fellow of the Institute of Chartered Accountants.
